Description
Ok, so yesterday I went by Swan Lake & Iris Gardens and thought I would get some shots. So this is a Black Australian Swan(Cygnus atratus). As you can see,this one was trying to nap, till I snuck up to take a pic. Now a little about this swan. This swan is the perfect counterpart of our Mute Swan (Cygnus alor). Native to Australia, the birds mate twice a year; in the early spring and in the fall corresponding to mating season in Australia. Hope you enjoy.
