Description

Ok, so yesterday I went by Swan Lake & Iris Gardens and thought I would get some shots. So this is a Royal White Mute Swan (Cygnus olor). This one just swam up to me and posed for me. Now a little about this swan. Has difficulty walking on land but immensely graceful on water. Popularized by fairytales, these swans are native to Europe. In England, the orange-beaked fowl is accorded special status as property of the crown. hope you enjoy.

Impressive swan. Love the white tones against the dark parts. The other shot is great as well with beautiful water surface.
