Description
Going a little higher we get a better view on the Lauteraarhorn and the landscape in front of it. You can see a little of the road of the Grimselpass (and a few hundred meters above it the road to the Oberaarsee), the Grimselsee (a reservoir on 1909 m, 6363 ft) and the surrounding crystalline mountains. Notice the rivulet on the right almost halfway the top, suddenly appearing out of the mountain. Except on the high tops all snow is molten.

How fortunate we are as modern people not to have to march through these mountains nor attempt to wreak a living from selling lichens to sustain ourselves here. This outting is refreshing. Standing up in the sunroof is in order!
