Description

"COUNTRY STATION DINING CAR" seems to be closed. No idea what the real story is here. It appears that someone acquired a railroad dining car to open a restaurant about 15 miles outside San Antonio, but not sure if it ever happened. The odd use of the cabooses hints that at least one of them was going to be storage and possibly fully-equipped kitchen. (This is not too far from Grey Moss Inn if any readers are wondering just where the heck this is and are remotely familiar with the area.) It would appear that this is the end of the line for this rolling stock and somebody's dreams. Pity. I'd have given it a try unless tatoos and body piercings are mandatory. Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
