Description
The Pozito
As mentioned before, it is the very earth here at this place, from within this pozito (well) that is considered blessed and to have miraculous healing powers. The people who walked forward and turned to their left and then seemed to vanish actually walked down a very steep and narrow set of worn steps to reach a room so small not more than three or four could stand in there comfortably. The shadow on the floor...(made of hard packed earth and trod over by all those who came before me), is my arms as I took the picture.
They say the well has never been altered in any way, yet never seems diminished by all the visitors who take from it.......

Thats very interesting! Every country has its own folktales and superstition I know that we have many miraculous sites here in Greece, from the start of Christianity when apostle Paul was preaching here

Enjoyed the story, at first I thought the water was still there, then seeing the small hand shovel made me realize the earth is alone, except for the visitors that keep it company as they pray and seek the Lord
