Description
A large (stands approx. 450mm) flightless New Zealand bird, successfully saved from extinction. Managed to get close enough to use 150 lens, Hasselblad.

Visited a Breeding Program of these recently at Mount Bruce, so much has fallen Victim to Cats and Rats. Hasselblad eh :]

The NZ birds are so earth / water tone in sight and voice. .... In Australia they are raucus! (reds, pinks, bright cols) as every Kiwi knows!
