Apologies for the repost - had to delete the previous version.
Quite a lot going on under the covers in this image. Pls excuse the rib morph, which broke and the background. This image was experimenting with some new skin texturing.
The vital stats.....V3 std hi-res textures. My new incidence shader. Various node based spots. A tiny bit of granite in the displacement map. Blinn spec for camera facing polys, Phong spec for camera parallel polys (ie. glancing light).
I experimented with putting the bump map into the texturemaps (see my previous render of the hand), but it didn't work. I also think the spec is not quite right in this render - too sharp.

Oddly enough, it's the white spotting that to me has great potential. It really works at the hip and (I think) is helping in those nice fleshy compressed lines at her ribs. I'd love to see this on a softer model. I guess you cannot transition from one zone to another with different settings..or plug your bg color into your phong node. Words are cheap..lol
