Description

No. 17 of the East Broadtop Railway in Orbisonia, Pennsylvania. A rainy day. Prediction was for brilliant sun. A hurricane took an unexpected detour. The EBT was a coal carrier. Narrow gage. Brought coal from the hills to the main line and carried some passengers. In the mid 1950's it closed. Some years later, the new owners opened the roundhouse and other facilities to see what they'd bought: a time capsule. Everything was put away as if it would be used the next day. Scan of an old photo. Used the masks to mark out areas for 3D treatment: The smoke, the background hills, and the foreground gravel. Doing the engine did NOT look right, but everything else seemed to call for texture. All aboard! Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
