Description

These were very red, and my camera did a good job of capturing it. Later I wanted to transform it into an oil painting. Joelle MacAlpine and Jeff Young grow and pick these flowers near Watsonville, with foxes, raccoons, mice, gophers, skunks, deer, hawks, crows, and lots of other friends. As Joelle described it, it was lots of work - but in a very beautiful place. Then, to SF Ferry Plaza Market to sell them. -*- Painter 8 brushwork, with a Sketch layer, retouched, at 30 percent opacity over the top. -*- Thanks for viewing!
