Description
Scan and retouch of a photo I took some years back using a fixed-focus camera.
3D on the shrubs, dark green frame around image, standard Pour-and-Forget frame for background topped with some vignettes.
Seems I put more work in the #@!$ frames than anything else sometime!
I first saw this mission in 1968 while stationed in Monterey. This photo dates from around 1988. The difference in the grounds was incredible. In '68 it was basically a church with some rundown outbuildings. In 1988 I would not have minded moving into those magnificently refurbished buildings. I'll see if I can dredge up a few more photos of this incredible place.

you don't need fancy frames when you have the talen to capture the scene... as you clearly do!

i know what you mean on frames, but can't help it sometimes :] gotta play even thought the shot may be perfect... looks like a beautfiul place to visit, really like the old style SW mission style

Il me semble que quelqu'un sur RDS a dpostune sie sur cet endroit. Ca pourrait re marrant de confronter les deux regards. En tous cas le soleil a l'air de taper fort !
