Our last trip was good to get acclimatized to the mountains. Today a big hike, the Schilthorn (2961 m, 9715 ft)! Let me unfold the plan. We'll start at 6.20 AM in L

I went to the Schilthorn too in 1986. The tour was cheaper than the Jungfrau nearby. In one of the James Bond movies the chalet at the top is called the Piz Gloria.

beautifully done Jc, it looks like there's some kind of huge drawing in the side of the moutian,is there? it almost looks like a giant pictograph,oh you meany!! teaseing us about your Swiss choclate,I had it once, a freind brought it back just for me,I didn't even have to ask, it was like silk in my mouth,mmmmmmmmm sigh, stunning shot,yeah never forget yourback pack,it's a life save, bravo!!! oh....i too love those etchings in the mountains!!! I would like to study them...to learn what those etchings mean...what they are saying to us. so much to learn!!! I'm excited about this trip!!! And i ADORE Swiss chocolates! Yum! nothing better! Cannot wait to see more!!! Let the journey begin!

I somehow missed this one, which starts the journey we've now been on with you! I love those folded rock layers! As a kid I used to collect samples of different rocks! Always been fascinated by by layers of rock strata!
