Description

A last view on this glacier-world before we have to say goodbye to this ice-river. Pity, eh? We'll go back and we'll descend easily with a permanent view on the mountains around the Grimselpass. There's little wind blowing, perfect to give a little cooling in the sun. I hope you have enjoyed this series in the Bernese Oberland and Wallis (the glacier is situated in canton Wallis)! Tomorrow I want to start with a series of an almost 3000 meter (yes, almost 10,000 ft!) high mountain. We sure enjoyed it mate and yeah it feels sad turning back........... but then unless you go back u can't start again, can you??;) Thanks bundles for your efforts. You could really do a Photo book using your images. They make a wonderful journey through your eyes. I Vote for your whole series mate. Keep up the good work and my best wishes to you, always.:O))

another incredible capture!!!! A huge WOW! that sky is just perfect! What a thrill to see this glacier world and the ice river! i hate to leave here, but then I'm excited about that huge mountain journey ahead!!!! I'm with Snakey on the photo book! vote!
