Description

Terragen, World Machine for terrain, and a mangled and modified surface from timster.net. PSP for sharpening, color adjustment, etc. Many thanks for your views and suggestions! And sinere thanks to Joshus_Hund, Artgum, EoinArmstrong, me109, Rich2, photostar, choronr, and Dotthy (for her tutorial), for all the kind IM's with help, tips, suggestions for improvement, etc. I would have already given up on TG without your warm welcome and all your generous help!

Interesting terraces. The sky is very realistic :) Maybe some more surface layers for the rocks could do... Nice job, you're keeping improving!

This is soooo different! I really like the depth in the lake. You can see for miles. Then you have the extreme height. I wonder what earth shattering cataclysm would cause this. Very cool, anyway. Kind of reminds me of the Grand Canyon on a different scale.

This one is really terrific! Love the complex terrain and the way the water seems to be both reflective and transparent, showing some of the land forms below the surface. Really excellent job!*

Just the right amount of sharpening, nice work. Sometimes WM leaves these sharp features. I mix them with a Terragen terrain with smooth and small features to ease over the sharp bits. Nice progress here, we can really see where you are headed!

Whoa! Here's a cool surprise! I didn't know you knew Terragen, Maria - this one is awsome! I like the depth of the peaks - how the more distant one's are less focused and I like the clouds you made, too. Excellent stuff, o' Multi-talented one! Ooh, ooh - gotta go check out the other ones! :?)
