Description

Was beginning to get a bit frustrated with this one - adding layers, moving layers, moving sun position and angle and camera heights - so I thought I should just stop and do my final render and upload. Many thanks to all who commented so generously on my last render. I appreciate it very much. WM and Terragen Post-Work ACDSee

Now we are getting somewhere! You have done very well at getting realistic rocky surfaces. Nice snow, perhaps you were taking a lesson from Buzzzzz. I bet if you backed up a bit on the pov and looked at more of the mountain these surfaces would come together and give the impression you are shooting for. Still, this is great surface work.

Also agree with Dotthy...the terrain seems sharply cut off and unnatural...still the surface work is amazing and the snow texture looks real...like my images...some parts are super and some parts just OK... :)
