Description

Walking through the bush yesterday I could hear much croaking nearby. After some bushbashing the thick scrub cleared to reveal the 'waterway' I had invisaged. After the rain of the last few days, tyre ruts on the powerline break had filled with water and I thought it would be easy to find one of the hundreds of croaking frogs...unfortunately, they eluded my lens for a good twenty minutes. The twisted native grass made quite a nice composition, but resembles more a star than a frog ;) Captured yesterday afternoon with an Olympus C-150 digicam. ~*@*~ Thank you for viewing and your feedback is always appreciated. :)

You know how much I love this, I could just immerse myself in that cooling water but I know it won't be deep enough! Such a calming image, it would be a good stress-reliever to hang on a wall L. Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us hugs

Shame about the frogs but who needs them when you got such a beautiful shot as this ; ) Stunning light again & I love the pattern of the grasses against the reflected sky. Thank you for brightening up my day hugs ; )

Again, the stunning display of light, contrast and negative space makes this piece more than an ordinary shot of some grasses and water, turning it into one of those shots you'd expect to see published in an art book or on a calendar. Perhaps it's about time you submitted your photos for that purpose, as they look very professional to me.

I'm still looking, just in case you really DID capture a frog! A beautiful air of anticipation...

I think the frogs were causing the bubbles under the water. Good photo, very soothing.

You've turned something ordinary into something magical. This is an exceptional shot and I think the white border around it works so well. I dont know why. Maybe it just pulls everything together. At any rate, it was a brilliant idea to put that border there. I think i'm fixating on it LOL!
