A new Rosity member for you all :) Please welcome Kimberly, aka Lalani "Kim" for many here. She's one of the most talented member of Photography Gallery, "Macro Princess" to those who admire her extraordinary talent in capturing the microcosm we are often too blind and busy to get fascinated from.
This is the way I have decided to present her, like an ancient Roman beauty.
She sent me 3 pictures less than 2 weeks ago and although I were really taken by work, I couldn't stop myself from drawing her immediately.All of the pics were beautiful, and I think I am gonna use them also for some Photoshop work, but what moved me at this interpretation of her were her beautiful eyes, so intense really were calling me out to fix the impression of "eternity" in a language that could hit. Eternity for me has many relations with glorious image of Ancient Rome...therefore I decided Lalani would have been lovely also in ancient dress and hairdo.
Hope you can like, and hope she can too.
It has been a pleasure to draw her beautiful face.

Mi piacciono i ritratti in costume... vedi quelli di luciferino, e qui sul tavolo ce n'qualcuno mio da scansionare. Vengono al meglio certi aspetti seminascosti delle persone, qui il lato "aristocratico" di Lalami. Riesci sempre ad essere incisiva e sensibile, proprio come la tua mano che disegna.

Such a beautiful portrait in its own right (and so wonderfully roman!) but it's also so accurate to both reality and spirit...I couldn't have summed up dear Kim any better given a hundred years.
