Description

Sometimes less is more (except when it comes to render time). 7 layers of snow covering on this one varying in intensity, color gradient and from smooth to a bit of bumpiness and back to smooth again. Water foam set to a very high setting to produce the seemingly icy, frozen surf ripples at snow/water line. So you won't have to go to the atlas or globe, latitude 66 degrees, 32' N is the Artic Circle. You're probably getting tired of snow renders but I have one more for tomorrow. I'm working out my distain for Winter - and it's coming very quickly - had first frost this morning. Brrrr. Thanks for viewing and comments. They are much appreciated. WM and Terragen

This is excellent work. Your best so far, I think. Lovely atmo with a nice bit of haze. Good terrain with very nice surfaces. Shoreline and surf are correct scale. Reflections are glowing and perfectly done. Also the water transparency is cool and great color. WOW

Atmosphere and water are very striking. I had never thought of snow on the shore right to the water's edge. What a surprise.

Boy I'd forgotten how good your Terragen work was, 7 layers, that's some stunning work here Keith. I love the sun on the sea and the way the snow dissapears into the water. Tony :-)
