Description

After hours of walking in the darkness the cave passages led them to a small opening to the outside world. They emerged into the bright afternoon sun, which blinded their unaccustomed eyes. They took a few moments as they let the sun warm their skin and their eyes adjusted. They looked around to get their bearings, but for Neela and Sharra it was pointless. They had never been outside of the walls of the city in which they lived. The outside world was completely unknown to them, having been born and raised in the streets. They only knew that much of the wilderness was untamed and very wild. Cities were usually very large and very distant from one another, each having their own rulership. Merchants usually travelled in very large caravans for protection when moving from city to city. They were already standing far outside the farmlands that surrounded the walled city. The wall was just barely visible far in the distance as the sun glinted from its worked stone battlements. Neela and Sharra were both a bit hesitant and wary about what they might face out here, but they were reassured by both Nightsong and the muscled warrior Jaiya. Jaiya pointed to their destination far to the mountains in the west. They set out as the sun began to drop low in the sky. They would not be able to move much further today, but Jaiya pressured them to move with speed to get off the open plain before nightfall. So they set out to make the ridge in the distance, which the warrior assured them bordered a small forest just on the other side. **Thanks for viewing.... This was my first use of picture for a background... I hope the attempt to blend in a shadow turned out ok.. Any suggestions on how to better blend background pics would be much appreciated. Thanks to whoever and wherever this pic came from... I just happened to find it in a untitled folder in my texture directories. **

Must've blended pretty good, I was, before reading your notes, trying to figure if you rendered it in vue or what. Nicely done.

Mhmmm... guess the light on the characters should be more diffuse, with more weak light sources, especially from the back, upon and the side.
