Description

I reccomend watching a movie called "The Corporation" (Canada,2002)...Cannes Film Festival Winner, it points out such interesting things as certain corporations trying to buy the rights to human DNA... and a British company that owned the drinking water in a town in Peru and had the government pass a law making it illegal for the local residents there to be able to collect rainwater to drink!

Hi Robert! To the image: It is very well done! Love the idea of the cloud of smoke, putatively above the microscope! /// To your text: Yes, this is life and reality in our time... I could read in a german newspaper this day, that two cats are very succesfull cloned in USA... And human beeings? I think, this time too, but the people will not experience it... /// Back to your image: A very thoughtful combination of image and text!

I've often though about how the governments are going to propose an 'Air Tax'... You are a brilliiant artist... you know that I hope... you really make the viewer think... but the machinery is in place and there's no turning back... the world will implode oneday... :)

On the art, superb! the textures are awesome, the lighting and composition are wonderfully apocalyptic. As to the message, the sheep have no idea what goes on behind the locked doors. Not sure I want to know. Soylent green is people!

Robert as to the image, the first thing that strikes me is the incredible depth but more than that a peripheral depth. The composition is top notch as are the textures and details and best of all the idea. With regards to your message I'm pleased to learn that some of our Canadian films are well accepted and appreciated. I for one believe that human cloning will happen and that it is a question of time. Why? Simply because we can do it. Multinational Corporations will bring pressure to bear on our politicians and that will be that. For now we get the usual rhetoric which is designed to keep us asleep. As was mentioned here the machinery is indeed in place and it's only a question of when and not will it happen. "V"

it is mind boggling how things happen when left unchecked by reasonable thinking... again and again greed and power will prevail, over the innocents, some call that progress...it is machiavellian at best. interesting composition.....V

most thoughtprovoking image, as is most all of your work... air will become a commodity... clean air already is, our water comes from a creek & goes through a complex filtering system as the well dried up & full of heavy minerals... took it for granted when living in the city, now we have to work to maintain it in the country... it goes on as wide open land is gradually closing in... see :] ..you made me think :] wonderfully done!

When an unbeliever sets out to prove that resources are limited and the future is a place of bondage, the scene becomes littered with the symbols of parables in juxtapose with might.

The images and mind association are immediate and thought-provoking. I saw the movie you're talking about and I agree, it's illuminating. So, you have all my appreciation for the meaning of the work. As for the technical realization (but I don't think it's the principal issue here) my opinion is a bit less enthusiastic: in my opinion, you should work more on the water, that seems quite flat. Overall, a very good work, and I simply can't avoid to consider the message that's in it as positive and thought-provoking.
