Description

For Markal, who has given me the Markal award for 'Best Experimental Artist'. Thanks so much, Mark! I am very honored. This one is for you! :-) I was experimenting with lighting/atmosphere effects and ended up with this. I really like the shadows on the hills. I think they look like caves and I can even see a face of a skull or two in there! Terrain was generated in terragen (2049x2049). I've really missed posting here, but I had a few weeks back there that were completely hectic and stressful. But I had to scratch that terragen itch again! ;-) Enjoy! --Mike

Well earned award! Love the rays and atmo, very intense. Really nice rocky terrain and perfect surfaces. The pov and shadows lend great mystery and power to this image. Hope your studies go well! EXC.

Don't pay any attention to Buzzzzz he's just envious because he only makes nice clouds and bliss effects and can't get most excellent rays like this...:o) Super awesome work...very impressive and helps prove my point of best experimental artist. Excellent, Favs, Vote!!!
