Description

Here's another character from the same shared universe as Dice. Dice's uncle "Artic." Artic is not a Cabyll Usthey but a Phooka* which means he has 5 shapes not two. His true form is a white stallion but he can also turn into a man, a white wolf, a mountain goat and a snowy owl. A versatile 'man' is our Artic. And he has to be has to be - he is bodyguard, lover, jailer, teacher, and healer to the most feared and hated Sidhe woman in Faery - Ascanthia Des Alba. His job is to both protect her from those who wish to destroy her and to protect Faery from her mischief and malice. Why? Well that's too long a story for this comment field. ;) *In our universe, Faery horses trace their heritage through both mother and father. They trace their race/clan (i.e. Kelpie, Cabyll Ushtey, Phooka, etc) through their mothers. That is, all the foals of a Kelpie mother will be Kelpies reguardless of who/what the father was. But they also trace thier "lines" through their father. Both Dice and Artic are "WinterKin" which means they are both of the Winter line and share a common male ancestor (Artic's father is Dice's grandfather).

What a dreamy looking man, I love the pose you put him in and the background and logs really give it a special look. And as always your paint work is awesome. Excellent work!
