Description
I sell my soul into slavery
crushing beneath the weight
of a giant cross --
My temples bleed
my heart pierced with thorns
my mind possessed
of thoughts earthy and sensual
Drink from my milky thighs
burn out my eyes
so that I never lose your image
My hands bound
my body heavy with child
my person shackled
into the holy bonds of matrimony
Death and bitter wine of dandelion
the circle of the serpent
squeezing the life from me
My legs crushed
my spine unbending and strong
my image pure
as all that is good comes upon me
Strange ideas socialize over tea
a patchwork quilt of beliefs
to cover our naked bodies
my emotions overwhelming
my commitment true
of all that I am

This poem was written Sept 2nd, 1995 and I still like it so I thought I'd share it.
Pic is a self-portrait, but I changed the effects on it because I wanted something a little more odd for this poem...
