Description

After a great hike like the Schilthorn with the excellent weather we had it's a joy to watch the sun setting. I love those silver rays of the sun, turning slowly into gold and red copper. Pity of the power pylon but I decided not to remove it (they're quite tough metal constructions, you know ;). Rays of hope I dedicate this series to all who are injured, physically or mentally, to bring rays of hope into a life where darkness blurs thoughts. The future may be clouded, but... there is hope! Above the clouds shines the sun. Dreams may have become shattered, and anger and fear may have come to dominate our minds, but the sun is my daily reminder that God guides my life and provides ways out. Corrie ten Boom, a Dutch woman who survived the concentration camps of WW II once said, when all doors are shut, God opens a window. On this Sunday we celebrate Jesus Christ resurrected from the dead and I want to share my hope to all of you who bear sufferings. Enjoy your Sunday! Wow!!!! Oh this is truly full of hope and promise, love and light, and promise of fulfillment of eternal life!!!! I don't know if i'm seeing the same cloud as Ikarius, the I do see a head in the middle with an arm stretched out!!!! Has to be Jesus!! About Corrie Ten Boom...she was my inspiration as a child! I know that one book of hers I read countless times. Her words gave me hope and courage. What a magnificent dedi and a top-notch photo!! And let me just second your words...there IS hope!!! Those rays are simply amazing! Excellently captured, JC! Imho I would darken the shilhouette a bit more or cut out... but that's just me! Really love the quote by this Dutch woman... when all doors are shut, God opens a window... Yes it's most important to never give up hope in every situation! Thank you for sharing this beautiful work!

I used to think of him on the sundays at the gym when I would ask the big redheaded guy to not drop the 85 pound bar on my foot as I passed his extended arms off the bench and he lay there and would say, "shut up! I'm concentrating." Now what should I do with this pair of 60's I have in my hand so close to his head? The sundowners know.

I echo your comments, Jean Carol. I appreciate your dedication. Like everyone else, I enjoy your beautiful photos. They remind us of the power of God, and how small our problems are, when God is working on their solution. Thanks, and God bless ..
