Here are Chuck's personal words to the community:
I am a self-taught artist, formerly working in traditional or conventional media. For the last two years I have been experimenting with CG (Computer Graphics), and trying to transition from traditional/conventional media to digital imaging. In a few words, I simply love art and always have. Many of my images are "post-worked" by hand, re-scanned and manipulated in Photoshop. On occasion, I still use pencil, Prismacolor, Silverpoint, Pen & Ink or painting to achieve the desired effect. Whether executed the "old way" or the "new way" or a combination of both, which I often fall back on.
Art is art and it is the end result that is (hopefully) appreciated.

Alluring and evocative, a sense of waiting for the day, what will come,? lightin on the soft silk of the curtains is very lovely, and her wistful look at the windows makes you think if she is happy to see the day come or not. Eccelent Lina

I don't know why, but it seems like a hopeful image--like the woman is coming from dust and shadows into light. Magical and uplifting both!
