Description

A woman just met Knows not yet Her beauty through my eyes Few words can describe Eyes that reflect life's light One look and my heart takes flight A spirit so free Like something from a dream Try and try as I might To say the words I can only write The heart it races The mind it freezes For as beautiful as you may be I know this is not the same of me But I can't help feel what I feel And apologize if this seems unreal For the first time ever I wish I were someone better So that I can say You are beautiful in every way

I love the certain uncertainity (if you know what I mean) of this: "For as beautiful as you may be I know this is not the same of me But I can't help feel what I feel And apologize if this seems unreal" Good work :)

You captured the "moment"...the chemistry we have all felt. It's electric, consuming, in that instant that you see the object of your desire. I can relate to every word, even the wishing to be someone better. Though I'm sure you are wonderful, after all, look at what you wrote, felt, thought.

Ah, I think everyone can relate to this experience on some level - and so well expressed, too! Vote!
