A woman just met
Knows not yet
Her beauty through my eyes
Few words can describe
Eyes that reflect life's light
One look and my heart takes flight
A spirit so free
Like something from a dream
Try and try as I might
To say the words I can only write
The heart it races
The mind it freezes
For as beautiful as you may be
I know this is not the same of me
But I can't help feel what I feel
And apologize if this seems unreal
For the first time ever
I wish I were someone better
So that I can say
You are beautiful in every way

You captured the "moment"...the chemistry we have all felt. It's electric, consuming, in that instant that you see the object of your desire. I can relate to every word, even the wishing to be someone better. Though I'm sure you are wonderful, after all, look at what you wrote, felt, thought.
