Description
The Trek personalized Madone 5.9 Lance Armstrong rode to victory in the last two Tour De France events. He calls it "Plata Negra", Spanish for Silver-Black.
Actually still a wee bit of a WIP. Got a couple of small items to texture, and will do so when I get comfy with Deep Paint 3D and when I get around to it. Modeling is complete IMO. I'm using Dan Ablan's "stage" to display the bike. That's about it. Took a longish time, because I worked only on it when I had a chance.

Excellent modelling and I do agree with petes, it would be a shame to let down you obvious talent, with not so good lighting.

Dan Ablan likes his lighting :-), and I find the shadow play interesting as well. There is a key light, a fill light, and a back light. Typical stage lighting. However, I too plan to try radiosity with this. This is not the final pic.

Awesome modelling here. I love to bike every chance I get, though I never did like the curved handle bars over the horizontal ones.

I changed the Key Light to a Linear Light (Area light shadows were real grainy) and turned the other shadows off. I like it better now. When I attempted Radiostiy, after an hour or so LW8 was still rendering frame 1 of 33. I'm using a 2.33 GHz P4. Radiosity is still a desirement and will someday be tried.

Great model! I`m quite keen on biking but use much more meavier-looking ones:)
