Description
Here they stand, arm in arm like so many times before. They gaze at the wonder of God's creation and bask in the vibrant glow of the setting sun. It is the Autumn of the year, but it is also the Autumn of their lives. They warm themselves in the comfort of thier love and in the memories of a lifetime that now seems to have gone by so very fast. Yes, it is Autumn and after that comes the Winter snow and the deep quiet sleep. They know the sleep must come before spring awakens in a world renewed. Oh what a spring that will be! They do not fear the winter, for the Lord will bring them through it and into the radiant springtime... and into the eternal warmth of Sonshine.
I wish for you all that eternal spring, but not just for that day. I wish for you the peace I have in all seasons. May God bless you and wrap His love around you and draw you to His Son... to Himself.
