Standing in the old gazebo, she just stood there for what seemed an eternity breathing in the glorious color of God's artistic joy. Surely there must be a Master Artist behind such wonderful sights as this! I truly believe that God is the Master Artist behind all the grand and glorious sights in our world. I do not believe they are all by chance. In the stars, the chaging leaves and in the wonder of my children, I see His hand in it all and think what a fantastic thing it is that the One who paints the leaves each fall knows and cares for each of us. For me, that is the true joy of fall. This is one of those scenes that almost seemed to create itself. I started it to test the textures in my ForestMATs Vue material set, but each step of the way the element that just "had to go right there" just came to mind as if the artwork were painting itself. With the gazebo, it reminds me of some of my favorite paintings by Thomas Kinkade (but I wouldn't dare to claim this is anywhere close to that artistic quality). Regardless of what anyone else does with these materials, I have had a wonderful time creating and using them and that was my main reason for making them - to create and share artwork like this.
