Description
Triggered by Reinhard's Orange Coral (mushroom) I remembered to have some fungus-shots. The yellow stagshorn (Calocera viscosa) is quite a common appearance in our forests, especially on dead wood. These fungi are small but on a closer look they show lots of details.

1st impression: Wow!! Shroom that look like coral! 2nd impression: this is the stuff of horror films/books (which i love)! Look at that...a green head with fungus antlers rising up out of the soil!!!!!!! pulls blanket up to my chin upon hearing anticipatory sinister music...Muuuuuuaaaaahhhhhhh!!!
