Description

Triggered by Reinhard's Orange Coral (mushroom) I remembered to have some fungus-shots. The yellow stagshorn (Calocera viscosa) is quite a common appearance in our forests, especially on dead wood. These fungi are small but on a closer look they show lots of details. Enjoy your weekend! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 70 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

THX for showing such an interesting thing. A fungi is not a plant, isnt he/she ? The picture is a real joy to look at.

1st impression: Wow!! Shroom that look like coral! 2nd impression: this is the stuff of horror films/books (which i love)! Look at that...a green head with fungus antlers rising up out of the soil!!!!!!! pulls blanket up to my chin upon hearing anticipatory sinister music...Muuuuuuaaaaahhhhhhh!!! Fantastic fungus shot, my friend!!! Great inspirational image for Stephen King's next novel!!!! Love those shrooms! :)
