Description

Switzerland in october! That's the time for summer exchanged by winter. The first day it's good to acclimatize, so we'll do only a short hike with the possibility of going a little higher. We start at about 1250 m (4100 ft) in Beatenberg (the longest village in Europe with a splendid vista, click on 'Bilder' to see what I mean) and from there we go up. Wanna join? Well, let's prepare! The tracks are very well makred here. Going a little higher we get already a nice view just over the Thuner Lake on the mountains behind it. The sky is almast clear and some thin misty layers tell me this is going to be a wonderful day. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 28 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

spectacular view!!!!!those mountains & sky are just amazing, and i love that grassy slope...so fun! looks like it's gonna be a hot one! tell me why must we prepare and acclimate ourselves? is the altitude some kind of shock to my lungs? I checked out that link...whistles man, it's incredible, and i still can't believe everything i'm missing in this world. sigh vote!

The misty layers are mesmerising, I could sit here all morning and watch the moisture slowly evaporate as the sun warms the land. Congrats in climbing this mountain, you must be very fit lol. Perfect panorama =)
