So many parts of me
dismissed,
ignored and pushed aside.
The world for you
so different now
with mine it coincides.
The friendships formed
and circles closed
leaves me alone outside.
For you a screen
with letters typed
is all you need to see.
For me a land
unknown and strange,
not where I want to be.

Something that brings the whole world to your desktop locks you in a room and chains you to the desk and keeps you out of the whole wide world. Douglas Adams said: people are a problem.
