Description

2/7/1995 I look forward to my first hunt come mornings light, to slay a buffalo with the arrow I send into flight. We ride our ponies when the day breaks, only to find there is nothing out there to take. The mighty herds of buffalo have vanished at last, now we sit on our ponys staring at the vacant land and try to imagine those Days of Thunder Past.

Imagine when the Plains were filled. You are right 'Historical'. Sad. I am so glad to see your words here. Take care. V

Wonderful imagery. I've often wondered what it would have been like to live in that era. And in the slavery era. Sadly, what we've never experienced has less impact than it should, even in the best of us.

A sad truth, even worse to see'em pinned up on a wasicu ranch. Born a century to late
