Description

Apophysis>UF3:sdc.ucl;sam.ufx>PSP7 construction and optimization I was experimenting with the new mapping feature that Susan Chambless invented and these are of my first findings. Pretty cool, thanks Susan! I think it holds lots of potential so I am testing many of the .ufx folders to see what works... so this is more of a lab work piece to share my first results.(Actual rendering size but optimized by 50% so the fine details are lost) Thank y'all so very much for the great response and humorous comments to this past weekends Halloween pieces...I'm haunted. Great week ahead, Onward Ho! Chris

these are lovely little structures - yes like starfish, but also like sea urchins - or the kind of carvings that would complement a Persian-style carpet - lovely

After a quick trip to Wal Marts Acme product section, pair of chromodebth glasses later, I can see a damn thing.....WAIT...without them OMG...I love them all! What a fun experiment! My eye is drawn to the middle one, so very reminisent of chinese art, wooden carvings my Grandmer had when I was a child. Beautiful exploration, I am excited to see these grow! (=

The detail may be lost but they are still fine! My fave is the bottom one, I like how the centers differ and share the arms. Cool!@

These are very beautiful. My computer crashed a couple weeks ago, so haven't been able to try this yet. Wonderful designs.

Hey, Kit, these are pretty amazing! I especially love the second and thirdones, but all of them have a rather ethereal MC Escher quality about them. Great to zone out to!!
