Rozanne, this is truly a telling picture! Even the lifeguard is gone! That is the punchline of the photo!! Now, you can have the beach all to yourself and the quietness that comes with it. Beautiful lighting and well captured image. Well done!

You have captured a beautiful calm sea, with the sun reflected well, Rozanne. The beach may be deserted but I see a few footprints in the sand, and maybe dog paw prints too. I visited the Costa del Sol, this summer. It was my first foreign holiday from damp Scotland. I loved the sunshine, but the heat was a shock. I do not know if I could live there, all year round, but my children and I enjoyed every moment. I keep getting flash back memories, of Malaga, Fuengirola, efficient trains, friendly people, beautiful churches, wildlife, and everywhere the contruction work on new homes! This brought it all back, again. Thanks!

I like the light, and the sparkling water... it really gives the idea of an empty space!

Hi Rozanne. As I can see, we had exactly the same idea today! I like the way you have treated this topic. To make a shot in front of the sun is not an easy thing to do...Cheers
