Description

This shot I dedicate to Robert a.k.a. RobertTheoret who passed away yesterday. I want to encourage his beloveds with this shot. He liked the mountains so much, to be outdoors, to find butterflies, birds, animals. This joy radiated through his galleries. This ibex was a bit further away, but with a telelens it is easy to see it looking from this place upon us. When we're in the valley we can ask ourselves what is happening to us. Confusion, pain.... Afterwards, when we're on great heights we sometimes get a vista on the way we've gone and the way that lies in front of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you! Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 300 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Beautiful shot and dedication. Yes sometimes it is important to take a moment to step back from our busy lives, and see where we have been and where we are headed. Thanks for the reminder. May peace be with you.

today robert's ashes will be spread in a most beautiful spot and we are told his wish was for us to smile for him. so i shall. see his resting spot at: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12379&Form.ShowMessage=1992024 Robert would have loved this place. I do too! It's breathtaking! So wonderful to be standing on top of most special mountain and seeing God's miracles all around! Sometimes the journey up a mountain is quite difficult; we think we'll never reach the summit. But here we are, and that ibex beckons us near. Today, let's fly for Robert and his family. Let's taking off running and and soar the skies like a bird. I think Robert would like that! Oh and don't forget to SING!!!!! Robert always had a song for each image, so let's sing as we go!!!! I wanna sing "Rocky Mountain High" by John Denver. It's one of my favorite songs and i think it suits him! Come on guys...let's spread our wings and fly for robert! takes off running, lifts off Wheeeeeeee...........................

An excellent shot of a lone ibex. How fitting as we each travel alone during the final journey. Very symbolic with the sky, mountains and heavens in the background... I love it and Robert would too. :0) Jodie

Wonderful shot, Jam-Carel. Your dedication, to Robert, is both touching, and relevant to all of us. Robert's family, as we are, still struggle away here on Earth, on the pilgrim way. May God's living presence go with all of you, today and for all time, John.

a wonderful shot and sad reason for a dedi! sad for us, who are alive, because we cannot beleave and missing the lost soul! but imagine, Robert is free, free of pain and can go everywhere and looking into the face of all beauty! May be he is looking through the eyes of this ibex upon us...and tries to comfort us!
