Description

Here is the next chapter in my book. Keep in mind that none of this is the finished version....lol. I'm sure I'll change some wording here and there as I read and re-read it over and over. But the ideas and what is being portrayed will never change. (The image above is a picture of what the doll in the story looked like. Not an exact copy, but very close.) Keep reading! You'll see what I am talking about. =) HUGS ~Heather~ ********** Chapter Two

Your writing is sooo good...I need to start again..sighs And it touches me so much..I can relate SO much....I read yesterday's and was in tears...my whole day was emotional yesterday..so it was quite easy to put myself into what you were writing....I couldn't even find words to comment....I wasn't subject to my parents fighting, but I was subject to many other kinds of abuse...frowns Keep going and I will surely keep reading..you have my support 100%! tight hugs

This is so very touching! I thought that since I had never been in a foster home, this wouldn't effect me as much as yesterday's...I was wrong! Many tears! Excellent work!!! Know this, I am here walking with you!!! KUDOS!

((Sniffs and wipes tear soaked face before beginning)) Gut Wrenching, Utterly moving!! I grew up in foster care with my older sister, so this story touched me in a very personal place. You have so eloquently touched on how being separated from parents (and/or other family members) affects the psyche of a young child. How clearly I recall that constant feeling of not belonging and my fundamental lack of entitlement, which has lingered to some extent into adulthood. I truly hope that you find sharing this story to be a cathartic experience. The only way to heal this kind of pain is to let go. Although this often requires great strength, anyone that endures and survives a childhood of abuse or neglect has already exhibited undeniable strength of spirit. Looking forward to your next installment with tissues at the ready, of course! Hugs, hugs and more hugs in the meantime. (((Purrrs))) =^..^=

Another amazing piece. My local high school has 'one' guidance counselor, mainly for pursuing education goals. Four hundred high students grades 9-12 total. I've always said we should have a licensed psychologist teach classes just like we teach history, math, science, and computers. Big VOTE not just for your writing skills, but for shedding much needed open light on this subject.

You do such a terrific job of telling this story. I too was a foster child, and can relate to so much of what you've described here. I had tears in my eyes as I read about the unwrapping of the presents. Your telling of this shows an integrity and beauty that you should be proud of.
