My name is James Lee. I am a self-taught 3D graphics artist living in Brighton, Michigan. Im a big fan of science fiction and cinema, finding design inspiration from movies like Star Wars and Blade Runner.
I use Rhinocerous (modelling), Poser 5 (figures), Cinema 4D (modelling and rendering), PhotoPaint 10 (post-production and texturing)
My current body of work focuses on an accidental heroine, a mouse named Claude, and an ensemble of alien characters caught up in unusual circumstances. BIO Proud to be featured on

So glad to see you've returned. We were getting worried... And what has become of your plucky, murderous, occasionally naked heroine (anti-heroine)? Or is that her holding the gun on tentacle-head? Kind of hard to tell with the helmet. Love the 4-armed perp with arms behind the back AND behind the head! Just great. Time away has obviously not dulled your talent.

"And what has become of your plucky, murderous, occasionally naked heroine (anti-heroine)?" isnt she the cuffed girl lying on the floor?

I really love the "Noir" atmosphere that is a recurring motif in your series of Sci-Fi illustrations! Your characters are so vivid, and the backgounds are so wonderfully designed as to yank the viewer suddenly into a world of your own making. You have a rare gift. If you ever illustrate a coffee-table book I will be among the first to buy it.

I bow in submission, your work is fantastic the way everything is so right not just the lighting and movement but nothing looks out of place which is the hardest thing as far as i'm concerned, nothing too real, this takes a studio of five or six different minds to create this kind of composition. The bloke on the left could be Captain Scarlet (my favourite childhood programme) Bravo.
