This is one of the best ships I've seen, it's absolutely fabulous. I would love to see more pictures like this. V

I see just 2 flaws: the first, in a sea of this size, with rather large waves, ALL the gunports would be closed for fear of water shipping aboard and sinking the ship. Besides, the ports would be open only in port for ventilation or at sea in preparation to fire in battle. Second, the stun's'l (Stunsail) booms attached on the ends of the yardarms would not be left up and bare without the sails they would hold. Those sails would be used usually only in very light winds to increase the overall sail area to capture as much wind as possible and therefore keep steerageway. Actually in weather like this, which seems to be coming on to a strom, the captain would order reduced sail, to lessen the possibility of the storm tearing the masts out of the ship. Oh, also, the light reflections coming from the stern lanterns seems a bit odd, more of a fog over the upper stern than light hitting correctly. I would suggest removing it and have just the lights showing from the lanterns, and since it seems to be coming on to night as well, maybe have subdued light coming from the stern cabins, as if the officers have retired.

What a wonderful and dramatic scene. Excellent work. Besides, I really love the ol' windjammers of yore ... and this is a great one!

The ship is enough to make me say WOW, but the sea and sky are extra-extra-special. Love the sargassum weed "flotsam & jetsam". Rogue with a Brogue or sumpthin' like that.
