Description

The weather this weekend in Glencoe was in its predictable bad mood. It was however bright in comparison with the mood (or the manner) of the bar maid in the Clachaig Inn..... Its a great bar with a special atmosphere despite the rude welcome you get from most of their staff over the years, but this one really took me by surprise. Its a funny thing the highland hospitality. Its non existant in some places and seems to be actively discouraged in others. Perhaps we should employ more Scotish people here (oops.. not very PC perhaps, but there you go) A wee aside to Tina, (ladyhawk), there's a sign on the entrance of the place that says "No Hawkers and No Campbells" Imagine what your welcome would be like!!!

Looks like it was clearer than Loch Duich, and Skye was just well Sky! The land and sky were at one with each other and very wet! Still had fun though, Fantastic moody image I think it is a pretty true representation of the place, Know what you mean about the hospitality lol but at least its realistic.
