Second posting!
This image is strongly influenced by a great book cover by Tony Roberts called "Before The Golden Age".
Ships rendered in Bryce, and combined in Photoshop. Starfield created in Photoshop (Courtesy Flaming Pear), as well as some post production work.
Credits:
The circular/spherical ship is Marco Biolo's "Aries", the insect-like ship is a modified mesh from Django's Freestuff "Enemypack".
The asteroid belt is from Bazze's Freestuff "Space background making set" - and I just realised I haven't flipped it to get the light right! :-(
