Description

This shot has been taken in March 2004, in the French Alps, at the "Col de Vars" (2100 m). The "col de Vars" is a link betwin the Ubaye valley and the Vars valley, in the French "Hautes Alpes". This region, also called "Querras", is beautiful in all seasons and offers a lot of hiking and skiing opportunities. On this shot, you can see a small chapel isolated in the middle of the col. I hope you will enjoy! Thanks for your lovely comments on my previous shots! Have a nice week-end! Chantal ~~~~~~~~~~~~ French Version ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cette photo a

The chapel is perhaps one to Our Lady of the Snows, Chantal. Such a view inspires awe and wonder in our hearts, at the works of the hand of God. It is not surprising then, if people have been drawn to worship their God, in such surroundings. Bravo. Regards, John.
