Description

If you take the other direction of the street to the north you will pass the Ruin of Castle Stalker at Loch Linnhe. At low tide it is possible to go by horse to the castle. The interesting history of this dreamy place will bring you back into past ages! Castle Stalker

Goodness, everything about this shot is special. The coloring, texture of the grasses in the foreground, the framing. Can't say enough. Also, the history you have provided is most fascinating and gives great insight to the warring of clans in the past much as we see throughout the world today. My most sincere thanks and admiration.

Sossy out of all the photo's I've seen posted (I regret not being able to keep up with so many types and styles)this is indeed the finest for a ranking not yet listed MOST EXCELLENT.What type of camera did you use? Your history of the castle is indeed dramatic but what a prize! The land it controlled is beautiful.Curious what is.. the view if I had not taken other direction. :)

Lovely capture, Rita! This truly looks like a painting! The castle could not have been better captured! (pun intended)! This is, indeed, one of the best pictures I have seen in recent times. Thank you, too, for the elaborate caption. It is a great education. Thank you for sharing this.
