Description

Looking to the north we see the Jurassic from left to right become lower where they are bordering with France and Germany. The vague summit on you right hand (horizon) might be the Grand Ballon in the Vosges (France). We're standing now on the Wysschrützgrat (try to pronounce that! :) and have free vista's to the north and the south. Minolta X-700 (Fuji Sensia 100, 35 mm) Thanks for your attention and your always valuable comments

Magnificent view of the plateaus. The atmosphere is just right for giving a progressive infinity. One of the tings cleverly masked is the curve of the earth at the horizon that would just begin to show if it was a lake or sea.

It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see. ~Henry David Thoreau ...follow your eyes just beyond the horizon. i wonder if anyone sees what i see???? I just sit here and listen. this place speaks loud. powerful, intense capture of a special place. A symphonic world! Do you hear it? vote. into favs.

An 'aerial' photograph from your high altitude viewpoint, Jan-Carel. At this distance, the countryside looks so peaceful. Nice one, John.
