It's like an Olan Mills portrait. As the decades of these "scantily clad female warriors" go by, I just can't help but laugh at how ridiculous it is that a woman with almost no clothing on could ever be successful in battle. Oh well, I guess that's why the genre is called 'fantasy'. Overall the picture is struggling - if she really were a warrior, she should be annoyed to be posing for a portrait. The entire posture is 'relaxed', or 'seductive' - not congruous for a soldier. This leaves me thinking it's an episode of "top model" gone horribly wrong, or that she's really royalty trying to look the part of a warrior.

I disagree with the commander...what better weapon than a scantily clad woman? How many men do you know that can think straight when a half dressed beautiful woman walks near??? And as for the portrait, what better way to remind her people that A ~ she is a mighty warrior, and B ~ to them she means no harm? Excellent work, and story!!! :D

Nice little history and wonderful outfit! And about armored vs. unarmored: in the early 12th century a French army consisting of heavily armed and armored knights was defeated by unaromred and badly armed Flemish peasants. Not so ridiculous after all! I like the asymmetry of her leg wear. It's intriguing. And the details on that left boot are amazing! Excellent work.

Yeah whatever commander. ;) He mentioned "humanoids" in the story, which would make it fantasy anyway, assuming they're orcs or some other nasty man-like monster. Very nice as usual, good combination of different clothing to make an attractive outfit. I might recommend adding a more distinctive floor (shadows look a little odd to me), but it's all about the character anyway. :)

Fantastic lighting. Beautiful character. Love that combination of clothes, armour and several of your props you've used. The textures are amazing but, you know that. Great pose and expression. I see that her sword has even the signature of the master armourer. 8-) Excellent and vote! What's commander talking about? I think he should be reduced in rank.
