I'm still at a loss for words looking at this Cass! It's a stunning piece of work, your use of light both technically & conceptually is amazing, the dark is so powerful in this but everything seems to be balanced by the wonderful sense of gentle wisdom & humour so apparent in your expresssion, excellent self portrait full of the wonderful spirit I know & love hugs.

In the picture there is a woman with peace in his heart and mind. She is courageous, brave, and infinitely strong and intelligent, and wise. Beautiful and sensitive - living a real, sometimes hard life. That all can be easily seen in the picture. It is you. Other than that - I'm totally speechless in front of your talent! hugs

Oh angel.. when yesterday you sent me this.. i couldn't move. It was like an explosion within me, and I became sort of light bulb through the mere perceiving of the feeling this expresses so majestically. You are one of the most spiritual people anyone could meet... there's no sign of judgemental arrogance, nor racism nor dismissal will of hate in you... Those who don'tknow you cannot see this.. but they would if they would just be ready to comprehend there can't be real religious feeling without respect that has to be given to ANY person and life element first. This portrait is simply extraordinary. And.. as you may guess... it's already printed. I have it in my office already :) So that I can watch you.. and avoid to feel rage when collegues play me bad ;) Love, infinite love, Meli :)

My mind is spinning. These works to me are as important a The Masters of the past. You are very conscious and it shows in you work. It almost as if i can see the inner workings of your brain at work. This is the new mona lisa, the person jumped into in your Dimension X49, We all jump into your self portrait into the other side....

I'm with Meli 100% my friend, every time I look at this incredible portrait I can barely move either, a wave of love wells up inside and I long for the day when you can have a REAL bear hug from me! She's right too, you are far more spiritual at your core than many who subscribe to organized religion, the text under this upload is among your most succinct descriptions of what you believe. I hope more people get you properly now and respect your way to be as being as important and central to your being as their own. And I haven't even commented on the technical skill of this LOL, that is remarkable in itself and thanks also to Bev! Now I have to rush off to work L Thank you for sharing this, love you so much! hugest squishing hugs :-D

Love your selfportrait .. and of course I love the fact that you put in your birth chart. As I believe very strongly in Astrology too and do charts as well. This work is absolutely wonderful. Together with your amazing words :)

Cassie, you never cease to amaze and impress me. It is not simply a matter of the obvious talent that you have... that is only part of it, just as it is only a part of who you are. No, it is your mind... it is your approach to life... and it is your heart that keep blowing me away. You are easily one of the most wonderous people that I have never met face to face. Thank you for sharing this wonderful work with us dear friend... and more importantly to me... thank you for sharing such an important part of yourself with us. To me it is a gift you have given.

That smile and that light in your eyes is what makes this image so very special, Cassie dearest. It speaks of the spirit within you, so loving and giving and generous in heart and soul to all your friends and loved ones. I can see you in every line you've drawn, and though I know it can't have been the easiest portrait to draw, it is one to cherish many times over. hugs hard

This is outstanding work! I love your words...I was in a hot religious debate last night with some Christian friends of mine. It is sooo damned frustrating! There really is no point to it all.

Oo-oh! This is surely another of your milestone works, Cassie. This pic and text makes the perfect introduction to your world. It's interesting that you being "spammed" by good meaning Christians caused such a creative earthquake! Not at all what they intended, I'm sure ;-) I also admire the cheeky expression you're wearing, as if to say that metaphysics doesn't have to be without humour and fun :^) So many issues in this work. THANKS as ever... I feel I know you a lot better now, and I love what I see...

I totally hear what you are saying--usually people who push these "christian" ways sometimes arent even that christian to begin with--so they need to look at themselves first--I am glad to hear you have found something u can believe in and am glad you dont push it on others--this in any form whether in religion or just lifestyles is wrong I think--but anyway it's all about you, I think and how YOU are INSIDE -being a good person, etc is what more people should worry about--good art btw

A beautiful portrait of strength and understanding, a feeling of agelessness. His god, her god or no god ... it doesn't change the fact that we are all here and trying to live a life. Wouldn't it be nice if people spent their time and energy being positive, regardless of belief. A wonderful image.

You spoke so eloqeuntly about "Spirit". And I share the same feelings, I consider myself very spiritual, I just have a problem with certain rigid definitions. And I don't like when some people try to tell me that they KNOW the "Correct" version. I prefer, as you seem to, to see things in more simple terms. Thank you for sharing this intimate portrait!! The artwork is stunning!

Sometimes it takes the perfect moment for endeavours to allow you to finish them and I feel this portrait demonstrates one of those times very well, as this resolution to it is so perfect and expressive. You're a beautiful person in all ways and don't need to change, save in the ways YOU wish to. I'm so glad you see that, and don't let others pressure you into things you don't want or need to beMASSIVE HUGS We each have to find our own path and while other people can help, they can't, and shouldn't try, to make the decisions on that path for us.

Glad I found this!! As a great artist once said when asked what his painting meant... "If I could have put it into words, I would have written a book". You've explained yourself very well here. Excellent work!
