Description
The next day still fine weather and so we started our first hiking up Beinn na Caillich (mountain of the old woman) at Kinlochleven.
The West Highland Way (you see here - and such paths and ways I'm used to hike in Germany, Swiss and Sweden) leads us to the choosen hill you can see on the left.
It is late, so let us hurry!
We bought a book with informations for hillwalking (in english ;o( ) and there we found this tour with description of the paths! There should be paths! And I had confidence in it!*whistle* ;o)

It is a very beautiful image. The clouds perfectly fit in the depression of the path.

Lovely. AH.. Beinn na Caillich a corbet I've yet to do. Did you make it to the top I wonder? It must be a great viewpoint down Loch Leven and over to the Glen Coe hills. It looks like a good path zig zagging up onto the ridge. The trouble with "paths" on the hills of Scotland is that they can (and often do) turn into a deep bog through the even deeper bog!

You make a great tour guide. Great shot and I esp like seeing the texture of the grasses growing along the trail. We see these green hills and valley but don't get a feel for that which covers them. Thanks.
