It's heart-breaking... If you have the strength to write it, I say use it. HUG

Yes, Auspoet this does indeed pull hard at the heartstrings! As for the beginning of your book, I suppose it would be a good start as it grabs the attention and basically forces the reader to read on, but it is so very sad, that you would feel this way at anytime in your life. I am sorry, I wish that was not so for you. Although it also teaches as reminds parents, who get lost in the business of the day not to forget to take some time to shower their innocent children with love, reminding them, that they are precious, they are a glorious gift adopted or not, all of them, and they are wanted, accepted as they are, as deeply LOVEDThank you for sharing!

It does grab someone's attention. I kept thinking, what next? Well done, dear soul. In this piece and in your life. Maybe you can pass along your hard earned wisdom to others so they may meet with less dire circumstances. PEACE. VOTE.

Excellent opener! Gotta love us Devil Babies ;)My grandmother (Dad's Mom) would always tell me I was a Princess and that drove my Opera singer Mother UP the wall.
