Description
This is another photograph of my trip inside the crater. What was facinating to me is that even in that hostile environment plants thrived! nature never fails to amaze me. Thanks for looking and commenting, it is appreciated.
Taken with my trusty Nikon 35mm. SLR.
Stay healthy,
deevee,
Joe.

Fine image Joe --Makes me wonder what the chemical composition of the stones and multicolored rocks are ! and I see a few "statues" that could be outlined lurking in the imagination formation !

Thanks Robo, I see a few images myself, like a lion's head with mane in the right foreground and quite a few otherdifferent images throughout the photo. I know for certain that the yellow colored stones are mainly sulphur, as the smell of hydrogen sulphide prevades the atmosphere, I did take a few samples, I guess the other colors would represent other chemicals example blue from cobalt and so on. These plants are obviously acid loving in order to thrive in this environment.

Looks really toxic again. But amazing too what nature creates. A fantastic image Joe, thanks for posting it.
