Description

This shot was taken the week before the volcano started it's ten year series of eruptions, after being dormant for hundreds of years. This family was visiting me, and we decided to take a trip to the crater,as it is on a must see list for visitors to Montserrat. Who would have thought that one week later the island would change forever! Thanks for looking, it is appreciated. Taken with my trusty Nikon SLR Stay healthy, deevee, Joe.

Incredible what colors nature can create. And structures. Nobody would believe it when you would do it in 3D or paint it. In a way you were very lucky to be able to see it. On the other hand, what a disaster for the island indeed. And the people that had lived there. Wonderful shot Joe indeed. Thanks for posting this series.
