WOW! I don't a thing about Terragen, my friend...in fact there are probably many who would say I don't know a thing about the progs that I do use...LOL...but I do know that this is one heckuva render! Love the textures on the terrains here and can't imagine how nice this would look if it could fully render!?!

This is lovely, Davy! I like the lighting here and everything put together looks fantastic. I'm sure the water can be rendered faster or without crashing. Try the forum. ;-)

I have NO idea what all of what you said above means but I do know that it looks like you know what you're doing - this is a beautiful picture! And that sky, those clouds...just perfect!

I give you an excellent for the mood, lighting , surface and water. The tree would have looked better if it was a little off center (to the right) to create more interest for the eye. As for rendering intricate water you need a lot of processing power and a good graphics card plus a lot of ram or your computer will choke. I'd say you made a good recovery.

I think all the elements but the tree really work well; agree about moving it off dead-center, but also it's contrast is great than surrounding, so looks pasted in. Interesting what you say about that program.

Everytime I see one of your Terragen renders I feel like installing the free version I had. I went to look at some of the renders I have in a gallery at Webshots and was reminded again how much fun it was. Well, done, davy!

This is amazing, Davy! Love that painted look you've achieved. Maybe the tree needs some color correction, since it looks a little different than the rest. Anyway, great job, my friend! :)

Excellent glowing light and surfaces. Are you sure that the program crashes? Water is much slower than terrain and sometimes it just seems like the computer has stopped. I know of some images, rendered by choronr, for example, that took days (81 hours).
